AGM SECOND NOTICE OF MEETING

Mid Island Co-op's Annual General Meeting will be held virtually on Thursday, May 30th, 2024 at 6:00pm.

Online election to fill vacancies on the Board of Directors will occur ahead of the AGM, with results announced at the AGM. Registration is required to attend the AGM and vote on AGM business, as well as to vote in the online director election.

Registration will open on May 13th, 2024 and close on May 27th, 2024. Director election voting will close at 3:00pm PT on May 28th, 2024. Only members in good standing on the date of record of April 30th, 2024 will be eligible to vote.

A detailed AGM member package will be shared electronically ahead of the meeting with members who have successfully registered. This package will include the AGM Rules of Order, Agenda, Reports, Financial Statements, Resolutions, and New Business.

The following is a summary of the special resolution being brought to the 2024 annual general meeting:
Special Resolution #1 – Change to Rule 126(1)(a)(b) and (2) Borrowing Powers, changing the requirement for a special resolution of the members before granting security over the Association’s assets.
