Did you know that all profits from our Air Serv program get donated to the BC SPCA? That means every time that you use the tire inflator service at one of our Mid Island Co-op gas bars, you are helping local animals in need.

Since 2007, the Air Serv and BC SPCA program has been active at almost all our gas bar sites. As our organization has expanded over the years, so has this program and its impact. Last year, we started to make some changes so that the proceeds collected through Air Serv could be distributed across multiple local BC SPCA locations here in the Vancouver Island region.

This year, 2024 marks the first annual contribution under this new model, where all profits from our members and customers raised through the Air Serv program, are spread across various BC SPCA locations in Nanaimo, Parksville-Qualicum, Cowichan, and Salt Spring Island.

This contribution was made possible entirely by members, customers, and the good people from our communities who use our Air Serv tire inflation services.

In the past, we have not widely promoted this initiative. However, we are hoping to change that and the awareness surrounding the contribution of these funds. We hope that with every tire inflation, we can further the success of this program and its impact on the great work done by the BC SPCA.
