Our BIGGEST fundraiser of the year kicks off on September 1! Fuel Good Day is back, and we’re excited to partner with Children's Health Foundation of Vancouver Island to support Jesse's House.

What is Fuel Good Day?

Each year, Mid Island Co-op partners with a local, community-focused organization to raise funds to support the important work they're doing. This year, we've partnered with an organization with nearly a century of experience supporting local children and families.

Why Jesse's House?

When we heard the story behind Jesse's House — a future Home Away From Home for families travelling for pediatric and neonatal care in Nanaimo — we knew we wanted to be a part of this incredible project. The home will become a safe space for families across Vancouver Island who need to travel to access medical care.

How to Get Involved

There are two big ways you can get involved with Fuel Good Day: fuel up or purchase donation squares.

Fuelling Up

On Fuel Good Day, Tuesday, September 15, all Mid Island Gas Bar locations donate 10¢ for every litre of gas sold. No special steps, just fill your tank.

Donation Squares

From September 1-15, purchase donation squares at any Mid Island Gas Bar, Liquor Store, or Food Store. Round up your purchase total or add on a few dollars; you can choose the amount to donate. Don’t forget to fill out your square and tell us what makes you “fuel good”!
