Discovery Foods Acquisition

Mid Island Co-op is pleased to announce the acquisition of Discovery Foods Limited’s two grocery retail locations in Oyster River and the Willow Point area in Campbell River, B.C.

This acquisition aligns with Mid Island Co-op’s long-term strategic plan to diversify our offerings and services, giving our 80,000+ member-owners another option to shop local and choose Co-op in our communities.

The transition of these stores to the Co-op brand will take place in the coming months and once complete, will provide the opportunity for current and new Mid Island Co-op members to use their membership number to earn equity and cash back. Mid Island Co-op is proud to provide local jobs and economic activity in the many communities we serve.
