Mid Island Co-op Wins Enterprise of the Year at the 2026 Business Excellence Awards

Mid Island Co-op is proud to announce that we have been named Enterprise of the Year at the 2026 Vancouver Island Business Excellence Awards, presented by the Business Examiner.

This prestigious recognition celebrates outstanding teamwork, sustained growth, operational excellence, and meaningful community impact — values that are deeply rooted in who we are as a co-operative.

“This was by far the biggest celebration of the Vancouver Island Business Excellence Awards since it started in January, 1999,” says organizer John MacDonald, Commercial REALTOR® with Re/Max Commercial Camosun and owner of the Business Examiner News Group, which organized the event. “We had a record 455 nominated organizations, 128 finalists, and a complete sell-out of business owners and leaders from all across Vancouver Island.”
