More info on Ethanol
Ethanol is a renewable alcohol-based fuel made primarily from plant materials such as corn and wheat. Blending ethanol with gasoline helps lower overall carbon intensity while maintaining fuel performance for most modern vehicles and equipment.
For the majority of cars, trucks, and small engines manufactured within the past two decades, fuel containing up to 10% ethanol (commonly referred to as E10) is considered safe and compatible. However, some older vehicles, marine engines, recreational equipment, and small engines may require additional attention, as ethanol can attract moisture and affect certain fuel system components over time.
We encourage members and customers to consult their owner’s manuals or speak with a qualified service professional to confirm fuel compatibility. If your equipment is not approved for ethanol-blended fuel, alternative fuel solutions or stabilizing additives may be recommended.
