Possible Equity Cheque Delays

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) have served strike notice to Canada Post and could go on strike as early as Thursday, May 22, pending the outcome of talks between the CUPW and Canada Post. Any disruption in postal service will result in delays in the distribution of our member equity statements and cheques.

Although any labour disruption is not within our control, we will continue to monitor the situation and are working on ways to minimize the impact to Mid Island Co-op and our members should a postal service disruption occur.

Should a postal disruption occur, we will provide updates on the distribution of equity statements and cheques via our website and social media as any updated information becomes available.
